The latest Deskpet has arrived in the shape of the Trekbot, the high speed and athletic desk pet everyone's talking about.
The Trekbot is a hubless micro-robotic racer that will zip about the room doing stunts, all controlled by you. Powered up via the 5 function USB Remote Control it turns on a dime, can roll and twist and generally dash about in a manic and highly addictive way. Having no central hub this little gadget self-stabalises and can loop on it's own axis without coming a cropper. It doesn't even require batteries as it can charge up via the patent pending USB remote (do we care that it's patent pending? probably not).
Endless hours of inexpensive entertainment, now how cool is that?
