Air Swimmers

Yes you can fly planes and helicopters, control tanks and boats and submarines, but hasn't it always irked you that you can't remotely control a fish? Well at long last someone has kindly put the cherry on the remote control cake by coming up with the craziest, and probably most original (though I think that's tautological) RC Gadget in the world. 

These two vast Air Swimmers - winners of 'Best Overall Toy' at the Toy of the Year Awards no less - are of course giant and highy maneurverable helium* filled airships. The giant sized flying Clown Fish and Shark are easy to control in the tightest of spaces. The remote control handset not only contols the forward motion of the fish, but also controls its ability to move up and down in the air. On the base of the Air Swimmer is a little 'Feeder Fish' unit which conceals all the clever gubbins to control the fish, and is controled by your handset. So from your handset you can move the ‘feeder fish’ forward (fish goes down) and backwards (so the fish flies higher). In this way the fish can even go up and down your stairs - watch the video to see this in action. The RC range is approximately fifty feet. This fish needs to be filled with Helium before it can fly, because it's not magic, and you can get hold of the stuff from party shops, flower shops, and some supermarkets.

The Air Swimmers are made from a fairly tough material and once filled will stay inflated for weeks. As well as being immense fun to fly around the home or office, you can put on a mask, lie on the floor, and experience the benefit of free scuba-diving with a shark (or Clown Fish of course) in the comfort of your own home - and without having to get wet, or cold, or eaten.
