Wind Up Super Bright LED Robot Torch

The super bright mini LED torch that fits on your key ring.

Once upon a time, not that long ago, wind-up torches were large, heavy, and pretty inefficient. Much sweat-inducing winding for a faint glimmer. Well all that has changed with the Robot Torch. Key Ring torches can often be rather too large for comfort, yet this cute little retro techno Robot Torch is truly small. At just 5cm high he's a tiny little fella, and yet with just a few cranks on his flip-out arm his two super-bright LED 'eyes' will give you a veritable blast of light. 

What e=we can't work out is how on earth he manages to store light for so long. We wound him up at night, played with him a bit, then fliped his little on/off switch. The next morning when we cam to turn him on again he was still as bright as ever. We've done no scientific or even remotely logical testing, but we're very impressed by his performance.
