Along with his trusty and bizarely camp sidekick C3P0, R2D2 captured the hearts of Star Wars fans the world over, despite being little more than an inverted bleeping dustbin with some shiny bits. Then again, maybe we do him a disservice. Having appeared in every one of the 6 Star Wars movies, there's no doubt he is an icon and the most anthropomorphic dustbin ever devised. Thanks to his fame he's been imortalised in many guises, but best of all all has to be this R2D2 Projection Alarm Clock.
Standing at just over 16cm high this fully detailed and licences R2 not only looks the part, but when your alarm goes off he project the time onto your wall, and wake you with his famous chatty beeping. He's really very cute. As well as projecting the time he also has a little LCD screen on hos body that constantly shows the time. If you just can't wait till morning to hear him natter away, and you want to see the time projected you can press the demo button at any time to get him going.
