Listening to music as you’re peddling away is an absolute joy. Dealing with trailing wires and fiddly, uncomfortable earbuds (which are horribly dangerous anyway as they deafen you to the outside world), is anything but. The MP3 Bike Speaker is an MP3 player, travel speaker, and bike light all in one. The MP3 player requires an SD card loaded with your music (not supplied), and operates via a neat column flick system for shuffling through your tracks and adjusting the tremendous volume that this little gadget pumps out. The speaker is positioned in the end of the player and is truly astounding, making this a brilliant travel speaker as well as a bike speaker. There is also a super-bright multi-mode LED flashlight attachment that fits in the other end, so you get music and lights. The MP3 Bike Speaker sits on your handlebars in its proprietary click-in cradle, and charges up via USB from your computer. As music and travel gadgets go, this has to be one of our favourites, beautifully designed, well made, practical and multi-functional, more or less the definition of a gadget - get some rhythm in your ride.
