We don’t know about you, but we hate change. It’s always cluttering up pockets, getting down the sofa, floating around in a sea of lint and empty lip-gloss tubes in handbags, and generally not being much use at all for spending on stuff.

That’s why for as long as we’ve had change, people have been sticking it in a jar to keep it out of the way. Which worked, but this works better. Counting each coin as it enters the jar (UK currency only!), the titanium finish lid features a digital display of your jars total contents. It even features controls for bulk deposits and withdrawals.

With the current stability of the banking sector, we reckon this jar is about the smartest and safest place for your cash, and even if you do have to make a small bank raid, it’s easier to screw off the lid than smash up piggy…
